Shane Joukar, MD, is a compassionate physician with years of experience in the medical field. In 2023, he started ProHealth Primary Care in Pembroke Pines, Florida, which follows a value-based care model to ensure patients receive the best care possible.
Dr. Joukar graduated from Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. After graduating, he completed residency training at NYU Langone Health in New York City, New York.
From 2000-2005, Dr. Joukar practiced emergency medicine at Baptist Health Hospital. In 2005, he started and operated RiteCare Medical Centers / Urgent Care Centers. In 2020, he began NorthStar Detox & Rehab Center before opening ProHealth Primary Care two years later.
Dr. Joukar is devoted to building new medical centers and improving existing medical facilities. His goal is to provide excellent medical care to people in the community.
Outside of work, Dr. Joukar enjoys spending time with family, especially his daughter, Sasha, and friends. His other hobbies are traveling and riding motorcycles.
